Soil Research Center Soilia
Located in Lahti, Finland, Soilia is the first pilot-scale soil research center in the Nordic countries, offering a unique environment with real-world conditions for conducting basic scientific study of soil, sediments, groundwater and surface water, carrying out applied research required by companies as part of their product development efforts, as well as developing new remediation procedures
Soilia is owned by Lahti Region Development LADEC Ltd and maintained by the University of Helsinki, Department of Environmental Sciences.
Soilia's research fields and equipment are rented out to universities, universities of applied sciences, research institutions and companies.
